Across the country the tens of thousands of young families who are taking advantage of the government's latest effort to jump start the economy to become home owners. The credit is equal to 10% of the purchase price, up to a maximum of $8,000.

The West is the Best and Seattle is rated #6 on Forbes.com's recent Best Big Cities for Jobs list. Most of the top ten were cities west of the Mississippi. Despite recent setbacks, Forbes list our region as "one of the few fast-growing centers for information-sector employment."
